You want to build financial security through investing, but often end up stressed out by financial jargon — unsure of where to even begin.
As investors, women+ have unique needs. We tend to live longer, care about what our money is being used for, and avoid risk.
With Intentional Investing, you'll confidently build and manage your own values aligned investment portfolio — faster than you ever imagined you could.
"I kind of can't believe how simple it was. A click click here, and a click click there. It only felt simple, however, because I actually knew what all the terms meant, which funds I wanted to invest in and how, and because I have spent the past year expanding my awareness and knowledge about finances with help from Dow Janes."
"I invested for the first time in my life and am earning 10% returns totally passively!"
"It's such a relief to know that I'm not alone to figure out my finances anymore."
"I love the support from the community. It's been worth every penny."
Intentional Investing™ is a 6 month program, but it doesn’t take 6 months to implement! You can easily build your portfolio within the first month and our team of coaches will be there to support you and answer your questions as you implement and become a confident investor over the full 6 months. If you still want support on your investing journey at the end of your 6 months in Intentional Investing™, you’ll be given the option to extend your access to the Intentional Investing curriculum, community and coaching calls by becoming a member of our Dow Janes Membership.
Intentional Investing™ is a self paced program, so you can move at the speed of your life. If you committed a weekend to this, you could get invested by Monday! If you are really busy and can only spend an hour per week, you’ll be able to make your first investment within the first 3 months. After that our team will still be available to help you as questions come up during your 6 months in Intentional Investing™. By the time you complete the Intentional Investing™ program, you will have made your first investments and built your personal portfolio. After that it takes less than 1 hour per year to manage your investments!
We’re pretty busy people ourselves (kids under 4, anyone?) so we make sure to keep all of our videos short and to the point, provide all of the templates, tools and spreadsheets you need and we build everything on a mobile optimized course platform so you can even take the course while you’re on the go!
If you are already working with a Financial Advisor, the Intentional Investing™ curriculum will teach you how to analyze your investments and give you the investment literacy you need to know if your advisor is doing right by you. Then you'll be able to make an informed choice about whether you want to continue to use an advisor, or take control of your investments.
It's our opinion that most people don't need a financial advisor and should avoid paying them expensive asset management fees, when they could so easily manage their own investment portfolio! Based on how compound interest works, these fees can easily add up to costing you 40% of your potential wealth (and no one talks about this!).
In Intentional Investing, we’ll teach you how to take control of your investments yourself and maximize your wealth.
Our curriculum covers how to invest and provides tutorials for people who can create investment accounts in the US or Canada. If you are outside of North America, you will still benefit greatly from the curriculum, but you will have a little more work to do when it comes time to actually select your investments since we only provide tutorials for US & Canada.
No! Learning how to invest and manage your money is essential for retirement - regardless of how close or how far away it is. The closer retirement is, the more you need to save and invest… but your money has more time to grow than you think!
You don’t take all of your money out of your investments the day you retire; you draw it down slowly and the majority of your money stays invested. Knowing how to manage your investments properly during retirement becomes even more important because this is now your sole source of income.
Since women live longer, it is even more essential that we make our retirement money last as long as possible through proper investment strategies.
